Pre-Conference TrainingBUILT TO OPERATEThe Healthcare Facilities Operations Boot Camp & Deep Dive Ryan Schramm, CHFM, CHC, Sr. MECH, FASHE All-Day Program OverviewThe program runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute working lunch, approximately seven hours of educational contact time within the conference day. The day is organized into three phases: Phase I — Build for OperationsSpecify → Source → Design → Construct → Commission Operations learns why it must move upstream. A&E and Construction learn what Operations actually needs to successfully own what is being designed and built. Phase II — Operate with IntentKnow It → Classify It → Risk It → Strategize It → Schedule It → Assign It → Execute It → Document It The heart of the day. Participants build the operational infrastructure required to reliably and defensibly manage healthcare buildings, systems, and equipment. Phase III — Steward the LifecycleOperate → Maintain → Modify → Evaluate → Renew → Decommission Daily Facilities Operations data becomes operational intelligence, regulatory evidence, risk intelligence, lifecycle knowledge, and ultimately capital planning information.
